Stockholm Wintertime

The contradiction with Stockholm in summertime is immense. The city, in summer vibrant and alive, is now asleep, waiting for spring to come along. Below a picture of a street in Gamla Stan, the old city center. Nobody in this street ; only few people strolling around in the streets around finding a restaurant or bar to spend the evening. Just like I did. Notice the absence of any snow which seems to be quite exceptional for this period of the year. The swedes have seen no or very little snow this wintertime.
