And I thought that I would have a week of peace and quiet

This week, everyone I work with on the project is on vacation.

• Guido is in Istanbul with the family, spending a lot of money (or should I rephrase and say that the mrs and lil missy are spending his money...LOL)
• Wim is getting a tan in Tenerife with his family
• Xavier is somewhere @ the coast with his family
• Client team are also on vacation

So I thought that this week would be a nice week of some peace and quiet. Unfortunately none of that was true....because the week started of with Roy who was busy with the closing of Q1. And still needed some financial information. With some stress here and there Annabel and I (and a lil help from Guido) managed to help out Roy to get the necessary information so that he could finish his reports etc for Q1. So far I haven´t heard anything from Roy, so I have to assume that no news is good news.

Yesterday started of nice, because Niels introduced met to Sahar. She was here in Amsterdam to do some work for a new project. Had a very nice chat with her....and I am sure we´ll stay in touch because there is still so much we need to talk about....like TCM!!

Then later on the day, it started to get worse because @ 4.30pm my PeM thought it was nice and usefull for me to fill in my PFDA level 2 Engagement & Delivery Management Dimension. The deadline is April 6th. And he preferably wanted to review it today on April 5th with me.

This is an action that you need to take your time for to fill in....and I was supposed to do that in less than one day. Because it´s Murphy´s law that I am in meetings all day today.

Telling myself it was for my own good and for my own personal development/carreer, I did fill in that damn PFDA level 2 Engagement & Delivery Management Dimension thing. I finished @ 4am this morning. Got about 45mins of sleep, to get up @ 5 so I could leave my home @ 6 so that I could be @ the Dynatos office @ 7am.

You must wonder WHY I am so crazy?? Well, I will tell you why....because earlier that day (when my day was so sweet and relaxed), I had made a promise to my friend be @ the gym @ 7am this morning. Since I am a woman of my word, I was present @ the gym and had a 1-hour workout with my friend!!

Now it´s 9.41...I am gonna review my PDFA thing again and then start my days with my "whoepee" back to back meetings.

Let´s hope that I can take a day off tomorrow....and finally enjoy some of the peace and quiet, I thought I would have with tha guys out of town!!!
